Join our Inaugural Advisory Board

The AIRR-NA Advisory Board has been established to advance AIRR-NA’s mission of supporting members as they counsel students pursuing post-secondary study abroad while also assisting high school and independent counselors through educational programming and resources. Advisory Board members will provide valuable insight and strategic guidance as AIRR-NA approaches its 10 year anniversary in 2027 and works to reach more students, families, and counselors around the world.
AIRR-NA is looking for committed counselors and relevant industry professionals to join our Advisory Board to help guide our organization as we work to reach our goals. Advisory Board Mission Statement, Goals & Objectives
The AIRR-NA Advisory Board seeks to advance AIRR-NA’s mission by engaging with experienced counselors and industry professionals. The Advisory Board will help AIRR-NA grow and reach more students, families, and counselors through some of the following goals:
- Advising on strategic partnerships and stakeholder engagement
- Increasing AIRR-NA’s visibility and credibility within the broader international recruitment and counseling landscape
- Supporting the scaling of events, programming, and new initiatives
- Identifying sponsorship and fundraising opportunities
- Providing outside perspective on organizational growth and long-term strategy
Meeting Method and Frequency: Virtual, three per year, 90 minutes
Estimated Monthly Hourly Commitment: Fewer than five hours
Term Commitment: At least one year, up to three years, potentially renewable
Requirement to attend AIRR-NA events if and when possible, and regional expertise for AIRR-NA events and initiatives.
