USA
Undergraduate: Admission depends on GPA. A 3.2+ does not require standardized tests unless the course has a subject requirement, which can be met with 2 AP (score of 3+) exams or college-level classes (grade of min. C) in the subject area. If the GPA is 3.1 or below, the requirement is to provide SAT (min. 550 on each part), ACT (min. composite score of 23) or 2 AP (3+). International Baccalaureate Diploma and dual enrollment also accepted. GED and home schooled students are admitted on a case-by-case basis.
Postgraduate: GPA of at least 3.0 in relevant undergraduate programme.
CANADA
Undergraduate: International Baccalaureate Diploma, Secondary School Diploma or Diplôme d'Etudes Collègiales (DEC) with at least 5 grade 12 courses with 60% or higher. If the course has a subject requirement, this must be met with a grade 12 course with at least 75%.
Postgraduate: GPA of at least 3.0 in relevant undergraduate programme.

Standardized testing
USA: Middlesex University requires two AP exams or college-level classes in the subject area for STEM majors only; non-STEM programs are test-optional.
Canada: Middlesex University requires two grade 12 courses in the subject area at 75% or higher for STEM majors only; non-STEM programs do not carry this requirement.

Tuition and fees
Most 2026-27 undergraduate degrees are priced at £17,200 GBP (~$23,200 USD) per year for international students.
Postgraduate fees start at £12,800 GBP (~$17,200 USD) for international students, but vary by faculty and mode of study.

Scholarships and funding
Up to £5000 towards the deduction of the first/only year of tuition fees for talented students demonstrating academic excellence.
Eligibility: International passport holders living in North or South America, applying for a full-time on-campus program.
Process: A separate application is required, available after receiving an offer of place in the program.

Student life and location
Our state-of-the-art campus—one of the largest in the capital—is located just 30 minutes north of Central London by Tube. Set in a leafy suburban neighborhood, the campus offers everything students need within walking distance, including modern sports facilities, comfortable student accommodation, libraries, cafés, and eateries.

And with London’s excellent transport connections and central location in Europe, students can easily and affordably explore some of the continent’s most exciting cities.
Housing and support
We have three halls of residence on or around campus, offering accessible single bedroom options, most of which also include their own bathroom. Housing applications open in April and students must have firmed their program offer of place before applying to housing.
The university also offers academic, mental health and disability support.
Through the National Health Service (NHS), international students are able to get comprehensive medical care, including general practitioners (primary care doctor) consultations, accidents and emergencies, medical treatment, mental health support and sexual health and contraception. International students are advised to register with their GP promptly upon arrival to the UK.
Careers and Outcomes
Most programs offer the option of adding a sandwich year, which is a work placement before the final year of studies. The university also has an employment center, whose job is to help students find part-time and full-time jobs during and after their studies. Together with the practically taught programs, they are responsible for over 91% of graduates being employed or pursuing higher education only 6 months after finishing their degrees.
