About the Institution
Bond University is Australia's first private, non-profit university. Ranked amongst the highest in Australia for quality of teaching and student satisfaction, Bond has one of the lowest student/teacher ratios in the country at 11 to 1. Bond was the first university in Australia to introduce a trimester system, which allows students to complete their bachelor's degrees in two years.

Admissions requirements vary by academic program and can be found on each program page. For undergraduate admissions, Bond is test optional, although we do require test scores for scholarship consideration (SAT, ACT, IB or AP).
Applications, dates and deadlines
Bond has intakes for the January, May and September terms, although some programs are limited to specific terms. Admissions are rolling, however we recommend at least 14 weeks before the start of the term in order to apply for a visa.

Student life and location
Bond University has a small, residential style campus. Located on the Gold Coast, students have access to some of the best beaches and surfing in Australia and the world. There are many clubs, organizations and opportunities to be involved. Bond University is known for our outstanding athletic facilities and small, student-focused environment.
Housing and support
There are a variety housing options both on and off campus. On campus housing is available but is limited and students are encouraged to apply as soon as the housing portal opens each semester. Bond is known for our student-focused services and outreach, we offer many support systems for our students.
Careers and Outcomes
Career Development Centre, internships, and career-focused job opportunities while in attendance are encouraged. International students can legally work 24 hours per week while studying in Australia.
Information for Counselors
Applications are free and shouldn't take a student more than 5 - 10 minutes to complete. Admissions decisions are based purely on a student's incoming academic information. Letters of recommendation are not required. SAT/ACT/IB/AP tests can also be considered for admission and are required for scholarship consideration. Students should receive a decision within a few weeks of application and document submission.
