About the Institution
UEA ranks in the World Top 200 and UK top 25. Students enjoy a safe and pleasant setting. Campus features live music events, pubs, club nights, film screenings, and many student societies and clubs. UEA is home to one of the biggest indoor sports centers in Britain, the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts (home of the Avengers), and its own medical center and dentist. The library is open 24/7. Students also have access to a multi-faith center, support services, and career services. In July 2019, UEA opened a brand new science and engineering building and boasts Productivity East - a regional hub for engineering, technology and management. Famous alumni include Matt Smith, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Ian McEwan. Undergraduate degrees can be earned in three years and master’s degrees in one year.
