Founded in 1832, Durham University is the third oldest university in England and is a Russel Group research-intensive institution. Entry requirements

Durham University accepts a range of of 3 AP scores of 5,5,5 to 3 AP scores of 5,4,4. If a student does not have all the AP scores, they may be able to supplement AP scores with with SAT and ACT scores, honors courses, dual credit classes, or an associate’s degree. If a student's school does not offer AP classes, we will be able to consider honors courses in place of them.

Applications, dates and deadlines

Undergraduate: September 2nd, 2025 -January 14th, 2026 is the UCAS equal consideration deadline
Postgraduate: October 1st, 2025- June 30th, 2026

Standardized testing

If a student's school offers AP classes, students must have a minimum of 2 AP test scores to receive an offer from Durham. If a student's school does not offer AP classes, then students may use honors class grades in place of AP test scores.
